Lost Soldier Boy Quilt Completed!

And here's Tory's Quilt!!

A big, huge hug to Marla McDermitt
for the beautiful finishing of it.

And a big thank you to all who sent in blocks.

The rest of the quilts are still in the works.

Here's another new update on Tory....

There's a new soldier on the scene....
he has helped her in her grief....
they fell in love....
she's expecting...
in December...
And I see the sparkle back in her eye.
God is good!
Where would we be without all of your prayers???

Oh and by the way....
the new soldier boy...

deployed...

last Saturday.

Sigh....

Praying....

Praying...

Huge Heaps of Love to All of You!

  5. What an absolute treat to find a post from you and one that contains such wonderful news! How very excited you must be for Tory's precious blessing. So happy to hear that healing is taking place and that God is blessing her life. But, sigh...on another deployment. Our boy is currently deployed as well. Spending lots of time on my knees, but then again, that is always a good place to be. Will keep y'all and add your deployed soldier to my prayers.

  8. Hey John'aLee! It's so nice to see a post from you...I was just thinking about you this morning! Tory's quilt turned out just amazing...what a perfect tribute to her "fallen soldier". And I am just Praising the Lord for her wonderful news...yes indeed, God is soooo Good! I'm so glad that she has found happiness again, but also sad to hear that her new soldier has just been deployed. I will be keeping them all - Tory, her soldier, and their little-one-on-the-way - in my prayers daily. Oh, and of course you and "Guitar Man", too!

    XOXO,

    Cyndi

  11. Congratulations to Tory, I am so glad there is happiness to follow all she has been through. Prayers for her soldier and all who serve. My grandson left for boot camp on Monday, it was hard to think he is all grown up and off to new adventures.
