I was robbed on Thursday!

Oh boy....
they got my laptop,
my big TV screen that was hooked up to my work computer,
and the computer and keyboard,
the hubbies tools
and our safe.

I'm 49...
and it's never happened to me before.
Guess it was my turn. Sad face.

I really think I came upon them.
When I walked into my house,
I saw the bathroom light was on and I thought
to myself,
"Wow..I'm always getting onto Ken for leaving the
lights on ..
how could I have done that?"

Well all of my jewelry was in there...
and it was left,
as well as Ken's work computer
and my Bose.

Kind of freaky.

And poor Guitar Man....
he's out of town and is having a fit!
Both him and my son are ready to come with
a trailer and load me up ...
back to Utah.
It's kinda nice to have boys so protective!

I'm still determined that this is going to be a good year!

  2. Oh No!!! Oh Well, insurance covers for replacement value so you can update your items to brand spanking new! I know, all you quick things on the laptop, but if you updated your blog and your website recently, they should all be there!
Me, I'd be a big scarety at and sleeping with a knife and a big cast iron pan and a baseball bat and leave all the lights on in the house and sleeping with one eye open!
    Good luck, take care, Leslie

  3. So sorry to hear that.

That is why I have a big, loud, dog. I don't think that she would ever hurt anyone...but they don't know that.

  5. Oh that's awful. It's not the things they take is it...it's violation of your space, and knowing someone has been in your house looking through your things. We were robbed when we were away on holiday, and when we came back my hubby went straight on to nights!! I don't think I slept for the first few nights LOL. Take care. Linda

  10. I am sorry that your life has been so filled with stress since you moved here. Bad people make me so mad. People who think that they can just take someone else's things; people who use guns to settle arguments; people who think they are more important that someone else and don't care who they hurt in the meantime. Just really tired of it all. I hope the police and the insurance company give you solace and reassurance.

  17. So sorry to hear that your home and your life were violated. It really makes me upset when other people think that they can just take things that they have not paid for or earned. We all work hard to have what we have and then to think that someone else can just come take everything. So happy that you were not hurt and that you have such protective men in your life. Stay safe.

  18. Been there. It sucks. And it's stressful. It totally messed me up.... actually talked it over with a therapist - which really really helped. Glad you're ok -

  19. Well, let's just pray that the thieves are caught and that you get your property back, including the save, unopened. God is bigger than these guys.

  23. So sorry sweet girl :( My Mom was robbed twice - the second time they realized they had already taken it all! Just a bad feeling of invasion for her and now for you. You are safe though - still with all the love that you had before they came and more now - we are all sending love and prayers of safety to you. Can you feel it?! It will be ok - just another bump in this crazy road of life.

I hope you're feeling as philisophical about it as you sound.
